HomeMy WebLinkAbout0198NORDINANCE NO. 198 (New Series) AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE OFFICIAL CURB GRADE ON A PORTION OF FIXLINI STREET AND A PORTION OF SPRING STREET. WHEREAS the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo did on the 24th day of April 1939 pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 412 (New Series) declaring its intention to order a change and modification of the present official curb grades on the Easterly side of Fixlini Street between Upham and Spring Streets, on both sides of Fixlini Street between Spring Street and the Southerly terminus of Fixlini Street, and the Southerly side of Spring Street between Fixlini and Johnson Streets. AND WHEREAS said Resolution of Intention and notice of the passage thereof were posted and published as required by law; and whereas no protests were filed with the Clerk of the City Council against such proposed change or modification of grade, and said City Council having acquired jurisdiction to order the change and modification of grade described in said Resolution of Intention, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: Section 1. The official curb grade on the Easterly side of Fixlini Street between Upham and Spring Streets, on both sides of Fixlini Street between Spring Street and the Southerly terminus of Fixlini Street, and the Southerly side of Spring Street between Fixlini and Johnson Streets, in feet and decimals of a foot above city datum plane, is hereby changed and new grades are hereby es- tablished as follows: Fixlini Streets Easterly Curb Line At the intersection of the easterly curb line of Fixlini Street Fixlini Street, Westerly Curb Line At the southwest curb corner of Fixlini and Spring Streets 194.50 At 200 feet southerly from said curb line 205.80 At the southerly terminus of the westerly curb line of Fixlini Street 216.00 Spring Street, Southerly Curb Line At the southeast curb corner of Spring Street and Johnson Street 171.00 At the southwest curb corner of Spring Street and Fixlini Street 194.50 Section 2. The elevation of the curb between the points of elevation above mentioned shall be determined and is hereby fixed.by drawing a straight line between adjacent points of eleva- tion on the same side of the street. Section 3. Ordinance No. 149 (New. Series) in so far as such ordinance fixes the curb grades on said portions of Fixlini and Spring Streets, and all ordinances in conflict with this ordi- nance are hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance, together with the Ayes and Noes shall be published for two days before its final passage in the Telegram- Tribune, formerly the Daily Telegram, a daily news- paper printed, published and circulated in said City, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its final passage. with the southerly curb line of Upham Street, produced 180.50 At the intersection of the easterly curb line of Fixlini Street with the northerly curb line of Spring Street, produced 194.50 At the intersection of the easterly curb line of Fixlini Street with the southerly curb line of Spring Street, produced 195.50 At 200 feet southerly from said intersection of the southerly curb line of Spring Street with the easterly curb line of Fixlini Street 206.80 At the southerly terminus of the easterly curb line of Fixlini Street 217.00 Fixlini Street, Westerly Curb Line At the southwest curb corner of Fixlini and Spring Streets 194.50 At 200 feet southerly from said curb line 205.80 At the southerly terminus of the westerly curb line of Fixlini Street 216.00 Spring Street, Southerly Curb Line At the southeast curb corner of Spring Street and Johnson Street 171.00 At the southwest curb corner of Spring Street and Fixlini Street 194.50 Section 2.
