HomeMy WebLinkAbout0205N2 ORDINANCE NO. 205 (New Series) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 20 (NEW SERIES) BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION TO BE NUMBERED SECTION 22. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 20 (New Series) entitled "An Ordinance Relating to Water Service and Rates in the City of San Luis Obispolt, is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section to be numbered Section 22, and which new section shall read as follows: Section 22. The following meter rates are hereby estab- lished and shall be collected for vaater furnished through meters by the City of San Luis Obispo to any person, firm, corporation or pro- perty outside of the corporate limits of the City of San Luis Obispo, to -wit:- (A) Where the property to which such water.is furnished is connected to the sanitary sewer system of said city .(except where such property lies within the boundaries of a duly incorporated Sanitary District which has paid to said city a sewer service charge pursuant to a. contract with said city) the following monthly rates: 240 per' 100 cubic feet for the first 1200 cubic feet, with a monthly minimum charge of $2.85. 12¢ per 100 cubic feet for the next .1300 cubic feet. 11¢ per 100 cubic feet for the next 2500 cubic feet. 9¢ per 100 cubic feet for the next 5000 cubic feet. 72¢ per 100 cubic feet for the next 10,000 cubic feet. 60 per 100 cubic feet for all consumption above 20,000 cubic feet. (B) Where the property to which such water is furnished is not connected with the sanitary sewer system of said city, or where the property to which such water is furnished lies within the - 1 - boundaries of a duly incorporated Sanitary District which has paid to the city a sewer service charge pursuant to a. contract with said city, the following monthly rates: 16 2/3¢ per 100 cubic feet for the first 1200 cubic feet with a monthly minimum charge of $2.00. 12¢ per 100 cubic feet for the next 1300 cubic feet. 11¢ per 100 cubic feet for the next 2500 cubic feet. 9¢ per 100 cubic feet for the next 5000 cubic feet. 71¢ per'100 cubic feet for the next 10,000 cubic feet. 6¢ per 100 cubic feet for all consumption above 20,000 cubic feet. SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes shall be published for two days before its final passage in the Telegram - Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said city and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty days after its final-passage.
