ORDINANCE NO. 207 (New Series)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 41, 55, 95 AND
952 OF ORDINANCE NO. 76 (NEW SERIES)`ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE LICENSING AND REGULATING THE DO-
ING OF CERTAIN ACTS AND THE CARRYING ON OF CER-
TAIN TRADES, CALLINGS, BUSINESS, PROFESSIONS
AND OCCUPATIONS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA, AND
PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THERE -
OF", REPEALING SECTION 892 OF SAID ORDINANCE
AND ADDING SECTION 552 TO SAID ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 41 of Ordinance No. 76 (New Series),
the title of which is set forth in the title of this ordinance, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 41. Every person) firm or corporation owning,
operating or conducting a clothes cleaning or dyeing business without
tie City of San Luis Obispo and who carries on or engagers in the
clothes cleaning or dyeing business within said city, or who, within
said city solicits orders for clothes cleaning or dyeing, or who,
within said city, solicits and receives articles to be cleaned or
dyed without the City of San Luis Obispo, either directly or indirect-
ly, individually or by agent, representative or otherwise, shall pay
a license fee of $ 15.00 per annum.
SECTION 2. Section 55 of Ordinance No.... 76 (New Series),
the title of which is set forth in the title of this ordinance, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 55. Every person, firm or corporation owning,
operating or conducting a laundry, or a linen or towel supply service,
within the City of San Luis Obispo, California, and which laundry,.or
linen or towel supply service, or the real property wherein the same
is conducted, is upon the tax rolls of said city shall pay a license
fee of 10.00 per quarter, save that where such business is carried
on and conducted and all work thereof done solely by the proprietor
thereof and members-of his immediate, family no license fee shall

be required nor paid.
SECTION 3. Section 552 is hereby added to Ordinance No.
76 (New Series), the title of which is set forth in the title to this
ordinance, and which said section shall read as follows:
Section 552. Eve5y person, firm or corporation owning.,
operating or conducting a laundry, or a linen or towel supply service,
without the City of San Luis Obispo and who carries on or engages in
the laundry business within said city, or who, within said city,
solicits orders for laundry, or who within said city, solicits and
receives articles to be laundered, in such laundry without the city
of San Luis Obispo, either directly or indirectly, individually or
by agent, representative or otherwise, shall pay a license fee of
$ 60.00 ,per annum.

SECTION 4. Section 95 of Ordinance/ 76 (New Series), the
title of which is set forth in the title of this ordinance, is here-
by amended to read as follows:
Section 95. Every person, firm or corporation owning,
operating or conducting a bakery within the City of San Luis Obispo,
California, and which bakery or the real property wherein the same
is conducted, is upon the tax rolls of said city, shall pay a license
fee of $ 5.00 Per.;: qn rter.
SECTION 5. Section 952 of Ordinance No. 76 (New Series),
the title of which is set forth in the title of this ordinance, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 952. Every person, firm or corporation owning,
operating or conducting a bakery without the City of San Luis Obispo,
California, and who carries on,or engages in the business of selling
bakery products or solicits orders for the sale of bakery products
in said City, produced in such bakery, directly or indirectly, indivi-
dually or by agent, representative or otherwise, shall pay a license
fee of $___3o ,

SECTION 6. Section 891 of Ordinance No. 76 (New Series),
the title of which is set forth in the title of this ordinance, is
hereby repealed.
SECTION 7. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes
shall be published for two days before its final passage in the
Telegram - Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated
in said city, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty
days after its final passage.
