BE IT ORDAINSD by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as €ollcmis:
STCTICdd 1. That Section 8100.2.1 shall be and is hereby added to the
Municipal Code to read as follooss
Section §LOO, 2.1
Section 3305(c) of the 195$ Edition of the fti.form Building Code Le
hereby amended to read as follows:
3ect�ioa 3305EM. Wes. In single family dwellings, or on
monumental stairways that are not required by any provision of
this Code, winders may be Used.
In other Group I occupancies proposing the Construction of un-
required stairways, these stairways may be winders if the re-
quired width of run is provided at a point not more than twelse
(12) inches from the side of the stairway where the treads are
narrower, but in no case shall any width of run be less than
six (6) inches at any point.
SERCTM 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be pub-
lashed once in full, at least three days before its final passage, in the
Tel®gramm+Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same
shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its final passage.
