BE IT OWAn0D by the found of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
BE M ON 1. That Section 6240.5 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code shall
be and is hereby amended to read as follows:

Ef the Council shall determine that the public conreaience and
necessity shall require addittonal service, it shall then determine
the wimber of taxicab permits which shall be necessary to furnish
such service. The Council may award such additional taxicab permits
to existing holders of certificates of public convenience and
necessity or to any new applicants who are qualified for issuance,
of certificates of public convenience and necessity.

published once in full, at least.three days before i.ts.final praosagea in the
Telegramr►Tribunea a newspaper published and cira4ated in said Citys and the
same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days ,after its final
passage,
