An Ordinance changing the Official Curb Grade eri Monterey
Street and around the south curb corner of Chorro and IMI- onterey
streets.
lie, it ordaLied by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo
as follows:
Section 1. 'Maereas the Council: of the City of San Luis Obispo
did on tho 11th day of November, 1912, by Resolution of Intention
No- 17 (New Series) declare its intention to charge the official
curb grade on Monterey street and around the south curb corner
of Chorro and Monterey streets particularly described and set
forth in said Resolution of Intent -ion, and
Vhereas, the aforesaid resolution directed the Clerk of the
Council to publish and post for two days said resolution of
intention, and

posted for two days describinT the proposed changes of grade, and
Whereas, no protests were filed a,r;ainst said proposed change
of grade, now therefore it is he-reby ordered that the grade
on southerly curb line of Monterey street south westerly from
the westerly curb line of Chorro street and also around the south
curb corner of Chorro and Monterey streets are hereby changed to
and established at the following elevations above the official
datum plane of the City of San Luis Obispo to wit:
Cormuencing at a point on the westerly curb line of Chorro
Street distant S. 35 54' E. 91.70 feet from the intersection
of the westerly curb line of Chorro Street and the southerly curb
line of Monterey Street; thence on a circle of forty three feet

radius 26.40 feet; thence on a circle of 70.8 feet radius 23.60
feet; thence on a circle of 47.80 feet radius 26.00 feet; thence
on a line that is tangent to said circle of 47.80 feet radius 4.61
feet to intersection with the southerly curb line of Monterey Street
at a point that is distant south 53 7' Vilest 53.40 feet from the
intersection of the westerly curb line of Chorro Street with the
southerly curb line of Monterey Street. Commencing at the abo.ve
mentioned commencing point on the westerly curb line of Chorro
street and riulning thence around the above mentioned curves the
elesrat:ions sha17. be as follows:
0 feet Elevation 54.73 feet
10 feet " 54.97 feet
20 feet 55.21 feet
30 feet 55.50 feet
40 feet " 55.81 feet
5-0 feet " 56.28 feet
60 feet " 56.85 feet
70 feet 57.49 feet
76 feet 57.96 feet
Thence on a tangent,to last mentioned curve 4.61 feet to the•
intersection with the southerly curb line of lHonterey Street at a
point that is distant S.53 7' W. 53.40 feet from the intersection
of the Westerly curb line of Chorro Street and the southerly curb
lane of Monterey Street. The elevajsion. of the curb at said
intersection is 58.34 feet.
Section 2. Any part of an ordinance in conflict herewith
is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance.shall take effect from and after
its final passage and approval.
