HomeMy WebLinkAbout0272ORDINANCE NO. 272 (1963 Series) AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNIN ABUEDi `'EfS.RITORYv DESIGNATED "BERGZZI ANNEXATION No. 2, " TO THE Ci L Y OF SAN LIPS OBIS?sO BE I`1` OROAI %iEO by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as followso W11BREPAS, on the 15t;h, day of July, 1963 the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo dial pass and adopt Resolution No. 1156 (1963 Series) giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of San Luis 01-.spo, said territpry being therein designated as "Perozzi Annexation No. 2," said Resolution describing the houndaries of the -territory pro- posed to be annexed.; and ERE-AS, said Resolution No. 1156 (1963 Series) did contain a notice of the day, hou-i- and. place -when and vrhere the Council of the City would hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being in accordance with State law, the pet .tion L n ; signed by all the owners of the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, on the 19th day of August, 1963 at the hours of 3030 P.M., in the Coinicil Chambers in the City Ha R .of the City of San Luis Obispo, Cot,mty of . San Luis Obispo, St et;e of Calitfornia, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 1156 (1963 Series) for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did detcrmine that protests had not beta made by the owners of one -half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, and no publicly owned territory was included in the proposed annexation; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City Of San Luis Obispo, and is uninhabited territory is the County of San Luis Obispo; NOW, THEREFORE the. said Council of the City of San Luis Obispo does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of San. Luis Obispo, and aces hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of San Luis 1, . a, Tlkat said territory, the annexe Lion of which to the City of San Luis Obispo is herein' e;: e approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of Ca.3.forni i, :2 7P, more partidularly described as follows: That portion of Government Lot 1 of Section 1, in Township 31 South, Range 12 East, and Government Lot 4 of Section 6, in Township 31 South, Range 13 East, fount Diablo Base and Meridian, in the County oft San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to the Official Plate of the survey of said hands approved by the Surveyor General on November 21, 1867, described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of said Section 6 at a point in the existing city boundary; the3ice along the nor&.erly Tina of Said Section 6, 3st: N.890 100 53" E. 1000.00 feet to a poirm; hence, 2nd S. 0° '49' 07'.' E. 150.00 feet to a point; thence, 3rd S.18° 39" 17" E. 355.41 Teet to the intersection with the northerly line of the land described in the Deed recorded in Book 315 at Page 20 of the O Mcial Records of said County; thence, along said aorLherly line, 4th S.7111 20' 43" W. 1123.08 feet to the intersection of the easterly prolongation of the scnAherly boundary of Tract No. 251 as shown on map of said Tract at Page 79, Volume 6 of Maps in the Office of the Recorder for said County; thence, along said easterly prolongation, Sth 5.850 26° 35" W. 56.06 feet to the intersection with the westerly line of said Section 6, being also a point in the existing city boundary; thence, Along said westerly line of Seaion 6 and existing city boundary, 6th N.00 17° 26" E. - 836.43 feet to the point of beginning and containia-ig 16.325 acres.
