HomeMy WebLinkAbout0278i' ORDINANCE NO. 278 (1963 Series) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3140.1 OF THE SAN LUIS OBISPO MUNICIPAL CODE TO AMEND THE FIRE ZONE MAP B E I T O R D A I N E D by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 3140.1 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code, which adopts the Fire Zone Map by reference, shall be and is hereby amended to show the Fire Zone . changes set forth on the map which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, dated December 30, 1963, and entitled "Fire Zone Map of the City of San Luis Obispo, " which is available for inspection by any interested person. SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published once in full, at least three days before its final passage, in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of. thirty days after its final passage. North west corner of Monterey St. and Chorro St. Old Mission Church property Present land use R -4 Reason: Land has been purchased and is being used as an entry to the church. Fire Zone 2 to Fire Zone 3 1. South portion of the Sinshiemer School property Present land use R -1 Reason: To make =.,all school property uniform in Fire Zones. 2. North west corner Foothill Blvd. and North Chorro St. Edgemond Trailer Park Present land use R -3 Reason: This change would conform to the existing Fire Zoning for R -3 zones. Fire Zone 3 to Fire Zone 2 K 1. South east corner of Southwood Drive and Laurel Lane Union Oil Service Station Present Land use 0-1 Reason :. This change would conform to the existing Fire Zoning for C -1 zones. 2. Madonna Inn Property Present land use C -1 -S Reason: This change would conform with existing land use zoning similar to Flaggts Southwood Shopping Center. 3. North east corner of Madonna Road and Los Osos Road planned Development Shopping Center Present land use C -1 Reason: This change would conform to the existing Fire Zoning for other C -1 zones. 4. South west corner Foothill Blvd. and Broad St. Martin Polin shopping center Present land use C -1 -S Reason: This change would conform with existing land use zoning similar to Flagg's Southwood Shopping Center 5.
