An Ordinance regulating the admission of minors to amusement
places and the closing of such places of amusement.
HE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo
as follows:
Sec. 1. It shall be unlawful floor any person, either as
prop..rietor, manager, keeper, agent, employee, or otherwise,
to admit any minor, under the age of 15 years to, or to eaudd or
permit any such minor to .be or remain in, or for any such minor to
after the hour of nine o'clock P.I. of any day
be or remain in�/an:y theatre, variety ahoy, concert hall, public
- shooting gallery,
exhib:tian moving picture show, penny arcade,jborling alley, or
any place-of public resort an admission fee is charged to
enter said resort unless such minor'be accompanied by a parent,
guardian or legal custodian, or some other adult person duly
authorized in writing, by such parent, guardian or legal custodian .
Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for the owner, manager, ropietor
or other person having charge of any public shooting gallery,or�

bowling,alley.,to keep the same open, or allow or permit the same

target shooting � r owlingr to be done, played or carried on therein
between the hours of twelve otclock midnight and five o'clock
a,.m. of any day, or to allow any person, except such owner, manager
proprietor or person in charge thereof, or the servants regularly
employed,in and about the same, to be or remain therein, between
the hours aforesaid.
Sec. 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdeme=or, and upon
conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than
two
hundred dollars,
or by
imprisonment in the
County jail for
not
more than•sil.ty
days,
or by both such fine
and imprisonment.

Sec. 4. This Ordinance together with the ayes and noes,
shall be published for two days before its final passage, in the
h , a daily newspaper printed, published
and circulated in said City of San Luis Obispo, and shall take effect
thirty days from and after its final passage.
