AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPEPTY ON TAFT
STREET FROM R-1 TO C -1 -S
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION I. That that certain parcel of land located at the intersection of Taft
,Street and California Boulevard, in the City of San Luis Obispo, as set forth on Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and incorporated by reference, shall be and is hereby rezoned from 1",-1 to
C -1 -S.
SECTION 2. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of San Luis Obispo, set forth
in Section 9200.5 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code, shall be modified to show said zoning
change.
SECTION 3, This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published
once in full, at least three days before its final passage, in the Telegram- Tribune, a news-
paper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration
of thirty days after its said final passage.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City Council of the City
of San Luis Obispo will hold a public hearing on the recommendation

Family.Residential District) to C -1 -S (Neighborhood Commercial

Taft Street, being Lots 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 and 8, Block 2
of the Arlington Addition.

SUBJECT: Application for Rezoning
Resolution No. 21 -65 of the Planning Commission recommends approval
of the rezoning of 1321, 13250 1337, and 1341 Taft Street from R -1
to C -1 -S for G. L. MacDonald.
This rezoning is requested to enable a high -class service station
to be built on the property, and the C -1 -S designation is proposed
as an indication of good faith.
There were no public objections to this request; and in view of the
location in relation to the freeway and California Boulevard, the
Commission feels that the rezoning would be appropriate and there-
fore recommends ,-.:approval.
