AN ORDINANCE ELIMINATING GOVEf,NMENTAL
EMPLOYEES' ��J'EMPTION FE01AT THE TFLANSIENT
OCCUPANCY TAX
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the exemption of federal or state officials or employees
when on official business from the Transient Occupancy Tax shall be and is hereby elimi-
nated by repealing Subsection (B) of Section 2553 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance, inasmuch as it provides for a tax levy for
the usual and current expenses of the City, shall take effect immediately upon final
passage, except that the exemption repealed by this Ordinance shall become operative and
be imposed on October 1, 1965.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three days before its final passage, in the Telegram - Tribune,
a newspaper published and circulated in said City.
