HomeMy WebLinkAbout0334ORDINANCE N0. 334 (1965 Series) AN ORDINANCE REZONING A PORTION OF SECTION 36 T3OS, R12E, MDM FROM R -1 TO RHS BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1. That that certain parcel of land in the City of San Luis Obispo, located in Section 36, T30S, R12E, MDM, shall be and is hereby rezoned from "R -1" Land Use District to "R -HS" Land Use District, in accordance with the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 2. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of San Luis Obispo, as set forth in Section 9200:5 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code, shall be modified to reflect said zoning change. SECTION 3. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published once in full, at least three days before its final passage, in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its said final passage. Zenglein applied for a rezoning, to R -H to enable him to develop apartments in conjunction with adjoining property he owns on Augusta St. There were no objections at the public hearing. The Commission felt that approval might encourage similar applications on adjoining Properties and that these should not have direct access to Johnson Avenue in order to avoid added traffic congestion. They therefore recommend approval of this application with the "S" designation added to ensure that vehicular access be from Augusta Street only.
