HomeMy WebLinkAbout03404 ORDINANCE NO. 340 (1966 Series) AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING BUILDING SETBACKS ALONG SAN LUIS CREEK BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows; SECTION ONE. That since the City Planning Commission intends to study the need and extent thereof of building restrictions adjacent to San Luis Creek, and the Council hereby determines that public health, safety and welfare requires interim restriction of the construction of any structures adjacent to said Creek until said study can be completed. SECTION TWO. That no structures shall be erected within forty feet (40) of each side of the centerline of San Luis Creek lying within the City limits of said City without the prior consent of the Planning Commission, with right of appeal to the City Council. SECTION THREE. That this ordinance shall be effective on the date of its adoption and shall be in full force and effect for ninety (90) days, provided that the Council may, pursuant to the provisions of Section 65856 of the Government Code, extend the term of this Ordinance. SECTION FOUL. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published once in full in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City.
