AN ORDINANCE QUITCLAIMING PROPERTY
TO ROBERT L. NEWBY
B E IT O R DA I N E D by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Council will, after holding a public hearing on June 6, 1966
at 8 :00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo,
California, quitclaim to Robert L. Newby all of the City's right, title, and interest in a
parcel of property approximately five feet wide by fifty feet long, described as follows:
That portion of Lot 1 in Block 27 of the City of San Luis Obispo, in the
City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
according to map filed for record May 1, 1878 in Book A, at Page 168 of
Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot; said point being the
Southeast corner of Sycamore and Osos Streets; thence South 360
22' East along the Northerly line of Osos Street, 50 feet to the true
point of beginning; thence North 530 38' East, 49 feet; thence South
360 22' East, 5 feet; thence South 53° 38' West, 49 feet to the point
on the Northerly line of Osos Street; thence North 36° 22' West, 5
feet to the true point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute by and on behalf of
the City of San Luis Obispo a Quitclaim Deed covering said parcel upon payment to the City
of the costs and expenses of transferring said parcel.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published
once in full, at least three days before its final passage, in the Telegram- Tribune, a news-
paper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration
of thirty days after its final passage.
