AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR COMPTUTING
AND COLLECTING SPECIAL SEWER C ONNEC::
TION CHARGES FROM ANNEXED AREAS AND
FROM CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Before a permit shall be issued for a sewer connection in
any area now outside the City limits which shall hereafter be annexed to the
City, the owner or applicant shall pay to the City for such privilege a sum
of money to be computed by the City Engineer as said property's share of the
cost of the then existing sewerage facilities of the City to be used by said
property.
SECTION 2. Said sum shall be the-equivalent of the cost to similar
properties then within the City which have paid for said facilities so to be
used.
SECTION 3. Said sum shall not include any amounts for which bonds of
the City are then outstanding and to which said property shall become subject
upon annexation.
SECTION 4. Before a permit shall be issued fora sewer connection in
any areas within the City,,which property shall use any then existing sewerage
facilities of the City for which such property shall not have made full payment
of its share of the cost thereof, the owner or applicant shall pay to the City
a sum of money for such privilege to be computed by the City Engineer in the
same manner above provided.
SECTION 5. This ordinance, together with the Ayes and Noes, shall be
published fortwo days before its final passage in the Telegram- Tribune, a
dailIT newspaper printed', published an circulated in said City, and the same
shall take. effect and be in force thirty days after its final passage.
