An Ordinance Fixing Rates For Gas and ,,lectricit :r � l rnished the,

as follows:
Sect ion 1. °shat for the perioc conx!ienci.ng on the 19t day of
1 July, 1914, and ending on the 30tt, day of June, 1915, the maximum
rates of compensation which any person or persons, firm, company, g
association or corporation 7:ay charge, collect or receive for s

to the inhabitants thereof, is hereby fixed and established as
follows:
1 - Gas Furnished for any Purpose:
For the .first fifteen thousand ( 15,000) cubic feet of gas
consumed in one month, the rage shall be one and (u � a-p

4 - Electricity Furnished for City for Street Lights:
For electric current furnished the City for street lights
I including tl,e .furnishing, care and. maintenance of 6.6 series A. C.
enclosed' arcs, the rate shall be' per lamip per month for all

For electric clarr,�nt furnished .the City for street lights
including the furnishing, care and maintenances, of 100 watt
incandescent lamps, the rate shall be lar.q)9, per month for
all r t service.
Section 2 . The City Col Inc it does hereby re;;? r. Vti: the right t0
change any rate of rates herein provid-ed for electricity ^too be
furni�--hAµ to the City of San Luis Obispo or to the inhabitants
thereof, either for private or for public use or for street light-
ing, or to fix any nevi rate or rates for electricity ovide..;.;. that
such change in rates shall be made or new rate or rates small be a
fixed by Ordina.r_ce adopted not later than the 30th day. of June, 19140.

Section 3. This Or.tinance shall take, effect on .tl-.e 1st day of
