HomeMy WebLinkAbout0412NORDINANCE NO. 412 (NEW SERIES) AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISTION OF REAL PROPERTY FROM JOHN S. W ILLIS . BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1.. That the public necessity requires that the real property hereinafter described be acquired and purchased by the City of San Luis Obispo from John S. Williams. SECTION 2. The Commissioner of Supplies is hereby auth- orized to-purchase said property for and on behalf of said City, for the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars (750.00)a SECTION 3. Said real property is described as follows: That portion of lot 3, according to map attached to the Decree of Partition entered in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of San Luis Obispo on July 25, 1593 in Action No. 2041 entitled "Rebecca Johnson, plain- tiff, vs. William Johnson, et al, defendants;, in the city of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, des - cribed as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of said lot distant thereon North 00 121 West, 292.10 feet from corner J15 in the north line of County Road No. 29, said point of beginning also being the northwest corndr of the property conveyed to Edward B. Rayner, etu,x., by deed dated March 17, 1949, and recorded March 24, 1949 in book 513 page 351, Official Records, records of said county; thence from said point of begin- ning North 00 121 West along the west line of said lot, 70.90 feet to'the southwest corner of the land described in the deed to John S. Williams, recorded October 5, 1953 in book 725 page 255, Official Records, thence North 590 501 East along the south line of the land described in the deed last above mentioned, 120 feet to the southeast corner thereof; thence South 00 121 East, 70.90 feet to ;the northeast corner of the land described in the deed to Edward B. Rayner, etux. first hereinabove mentioned; -1- thence North 890 50' West, along the north line of the land described in the deed to Edward B. Rayner, etux., as aforesaid, 120 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. This ordinance, together with the Ayes and Noes, shall be published for two days before its final passage in the Telegram- Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty days after its final passage.
