ORDINANCE NO. 441 (1969 Series)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SAN LUIS` OBISPO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO ESTABLISH A BUILDING SETBACK LINE ON SANTA RASA
STREET FROM MONTEREY STREET TO MARSH STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 9300.4.16 is hereby added to the San Luis Obispo
Municipal Code to read as follows:
9300.4.16 An official building setback line is hereby established
along both sides of Santa Rosa Street between Monterey Street and
Marsh Street in accordance with the map dated January 20, 1969 on
file in the Office of the City Clerk and said line shall be forty (40) feet
from the center line on both sides of Higuera Street as shown on Exhibit
"A" hereto.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three (3) days before its final passage in the Telegram-
Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go
into effect at the expiration of thirty days after said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo at a Regular Meeting held thereof on the 20th day of January, 1969, on motion
of Councilman Gallagher, seconded by Councilman Miller, and on the following roll
call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Blalce, Gallagher, Miller, Spring and Mayor Whelchel
