ORDINANCE NO. 446 (1969 Series)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO REDUCE THE
DENSITY REQUIREMENTS IN THE R -2 DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 9200.28 (residential medium density) be amended
to permit a density of one dwelling unit for each 2,700 sq. ft. of land area
plus one dwelling unit for each remaining area of less than 2,700 sq. ft. and
more than 1,350 sq. ft. Said density amendment is also shown on the attached
Zone Chart marked Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three days prior to its final passage, in
the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City,
and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its
said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo at a Regular Meeting held thereof on the 17th day of February, 1969,
on motion of Councilman Gallagher, seconded by Councilman Spring, and on
the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Frank Gallagher, Emmons Blake, Arthur Spring,
Donald Q. Miller and Mayor Clell Whelchel.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
