ORIANCE NO. 457 (1969 Series)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP
OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following described portion of the City of San Luis Obispo
as shown on the Official Zone Map of the City of San Luis Obispo be reclassified as
follows. Said property is also shown on the map attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein by reference.
From District PD R 2 (Planned Development - Residential Medium) to District
R -2-S (Residential Medium Density - Combining) real property described as:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 26,
Township 30 South, Range 12 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, in the
City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California; as
shown in Map Book 14, Page 14, of Licensed Surveys, recorded June 22, 1964,
in the office of the County Recorder, records of San Luis Obispo County,
California, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Hathway Street and Montalban Street'
at a concrete monument as shown on said map; thence South 89° 44' East, 69.35
feet; thence North 720 40' 10" East, 83.46'feet; thence North 51° 21' 20" East,
250.00 feet; thence North 460 21' East, 98.66 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence from said true point of beginning continuing North 460 21' East, 36.95
feet to a point on the Southern Pacific Railroad right -of -way; thence North 360
18' West along said right -of -way, 270.01 feet to a point on the Southerly line of
Arlington Addition, as shown on map Book 9, Page 24 of Records of Survey, Records
of San Luis Obispo County, California; thence along the Southerly line of said
Arlington Addition as shown by map, North 890 50' West, 278.75 feet to a point
on the Easterly line of Hathway Street; thence along said Easterly line South 00
10' West 241.10 feet to the Northwest corner of a parcel of land conveyed to
Herbert Morrison Line, et al.; recorded in Book 1227, Page 62 of Official Records;
thence South 890 44' East, 135.00 feet to the Northeast comer of said parcel of
land conveyed to Herbert Morrison Line, et al;. thence South 0° 10' West, 5.00
feet to a point on the Northwest corner of a parcel of land conveyed to William S.
Bradbeer et ux. , recorded in Book 845, page 250 of Official Records; thence
North 890 24' East, 277.58 feet to the true point of beginning.
Also known as 520 Hathway Avenue.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published once
in full, at least three days prior to its final passage, in the Telegram Tribune, a newspaper
published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of
thirty days after its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo at
a Regular Meeting held thereof on the 22nd day of July, 1969 on motion of Councilman Miller,
seconded by Councilman Spring, and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Miller, Spring, Blake, Graham and Mayor Schwartz
