AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS
OBISPO REVISING AND AMENDING THE FIRE
ZONE MAP.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTIO14 1. Municipal Code Section 3140.1 is hereby
amended to read in full as follows:
"The locations and boundaries of Fire Zones 1, 2, and
3 are delineated upon the map entitled "Fire Zone Map for
the City of San Luis Obispo, California," as revised July 1,
1974, and as such map may be amended from time to time by
ordinance upon the recommendation of the Fire Chief. A copy
of said map shall be maintained on file for public reference
in the Offices of the City Clerk, the Planning & Building
Department, and Fire Department Headquarters.
Construction of all new buildings or structures and any
additions or improvements to existing buildings or structures
shall comply with the regulations pertaining to zones set forth
in the City Building Code."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and
noes, shall be published once.in full, at least three days
prior to its final passage, in the Telegram- Tribune, a news-
paper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall
go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after-its said
final passage.

INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City
of San Luis Obispo at a Regular Meeting held thereof on the
17th day of June, 1974, on motion of Councilman Graham, seconded
by.Councilman Brown, and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Brown, Graham, Gurnee, Norris
and Mayor Schwartz
