AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP
OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO (TO REZONE
169 .& 175 HIGH STREET, APPLICATION R- 0496).
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. The Zoning Map for the City of San Luis
Obispo (Municipal Code Section 9200.3) is hereby amended by
changing the zoning shown upon a portion of said Map as set
forth in Exhibit "A" Map of said portion, a copy of which is
attached hereto and thereby incorporated herein.
The amendment changes the zoning from District C -H
(heavy commercial) to District R -2 (residential /medium density)
for the real property generally described as:
All that certain property situated in the State of California,
County of San Luis Obispo, described as follows:
All that portion of Lot 3 of Resubdivision of parts of Lots 1,
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 in Block 152 Harford's Addition
according to map recorded May 31, 1906, in Book A page 122 of
Maps, records of San Luis Obispo County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Southwest corner of High and Beebee
Streets, said points also being the Northeast corner of said
Block 152; thence South 89 °31' West along the South line of
High Street 46.5 feet to the Northwest corner of the property
conveyed to Charles S. Dody et ux in deed recorded February
1920, in Book 136, page 23 of deeds being the true point of
beginning; thence South along the Westerly line of the property
conveyed to Dody aforesaid 123.80 feet to a point in the
Southerly line of said Lot 3; thence Westerly along the Southerly
line of said Lot 3, 36.84 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 3,
123 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 3; thence North 89 031'
Fast along the North line of said Lot 3, 36.84 feet to the true
point of beginning.

to the City of San Luis Obispo, in the City of San Luis Obispo,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to
the map thereof filed in the Office of the County Recorder of
the County of San Luis Obispo on May 31, 1906, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of High and Beebee Streets,
in said City; thence West along the South line of High Street,
46 feet and 6 inches; thence South and parallel to the West line
of Beebee Street, 123.80 feet; thence North 88 3/4° East, 46
feet, 6 inches to the West line of Beebee Street; thence North
along the West line of Beebee Street, 123.80 feet to the place
of beginning.
Also known as: 175 Hiah Street
General location: Corner of High and Beebee Streets.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and
noes, shall be published once in full, at least three days prior
to its final passage in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper
published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go
into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its said
final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the
City of San Luis Obispo at an adjourned meeting held on the
12th day of July, 1976, on motion of Councilman Norris, seconded
by Councilman Petterson, and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen.Graham, Gurnee, Norris, Petterson
