ORDINANCE NO. 677.(1976 Series)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
AMENDING SECTION 2100 OF ARTICLE II, CHAPTER
1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, MEETINGS OF THE
COUNCIL AND ADDING SECTION 2100.1, SPECIAL
MEETINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2100 of Article II, Chapter 1 of the
San Luis Obispo Municipal Code is hereby amended to read in
full as follows:
"SECTION 2100. Meetings of.the Council.
The regular meetings of the Council shall be held
at the City Hall, 990 Palm Street, in the City, on
the first and -third Tuesdays of each month at the
hour of 7:00 P.M. In the event that a regular meeting
of the Council shall fall on a legal holiday, then the
regular meeting shall beheld at the same place and
time on the next succeeding working day."
SECTION 2. Section 2100.1 is hereby added to Article II,
Chapter 1 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code to read in full
as follows:
"SECTION 2100..1. Same. Special Meetings.
Special meetings of the Council may be called by the
Mayor, or by three (3) or more Councilmen. Written
notice of each special meeting must be given not less
than three (3) hours before such meeting to each
member of the City Council not joining in the call."

SECTION 3. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and
noes, shall be published once in full, at least three (3) days
prior to its final ,passage in the Telegram - Tribune, a newspaper
published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go
into effect on October 1, 1976, more than thirty (30) days
after its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED-TO PRINT by the Council of the
City of San Luis Obispo at d Regular Meeting held on the 2nd
day of August, 1976, on motion of Councilman Gurnee, seconded
by Councilman Petterson, and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Graham, Gurnee, Norris and Petterson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Schwartz
