AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP
OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO (TO REZONE
1000 LOS OSOS VALLEY ROAD FROM U TO R -1,
APPLICATION NO. R 054.8).
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. The Zoning Map for the City of San Luis
Obispo (Municipal Code Section 9200.3) is hereby amended by
changing the zoning shown upon a portion of said Map as set
forth in Exhibit "A" Map of said portion, a copy of which is
attached hereto and thereby incorporated herein.
The amendment changes the zoning from District U (un-
classified) to District R -1 (residential /low density) for the
real property generally described as:
A portion of Lot 57 of Subdivision of Rancho Canada de Los Osos
and La Laguna in the City of San Luis Obispo per map of survey
by James T. Stratton recorded in Map Book A at page 83 more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at point S -191 on the north line of Los Osos Valley
Road being 66 feet in width; thence following said line North
44 115' West, 420 feet to the true point of beginning;
Thence continuing along said line, North 44. 015' West, 260 feet;
Thence, leaving said line and running North 45 °45' East, 1,600
feet;
Thence, South 44 115' East, 680 feet to a point on the east line
of said Lot 57;
Thence, following said line and running South 45 145' West, 693.50
feet;
Thence, leaving said line and running North 44 115' West, 420 feet;
Thence, South 45 145' West, 907.50 feet to the true point of
beginning.
General Location:, 1000 Los Osos Valley Road.
North side of Los Osos Valley Road between Prefumo Canyon Road
and..Descans'.o adjoining the Laguna Junior High School and Laguna
Lake.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and
noes, shall be published once in full, at least three (3) days
prior to its final passage in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper
published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go
into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its
said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the
City of San Luis Obispo at an adjourned meeting held on the
16th day of August, 1976, on motion of Councilman Norris,
seconded by Councilman Graham, and on the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Councilmen Graham, Norris and Petterson
NOES: Mayor Schwartz
ABSENT: Councilman Gurnee
