AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING CERTAIN PARTS OF CERTAIN STREETS IN
THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO TO THE COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES : -
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of San
Luis Obispo, as follows: -
Section 1. The Board of Supervisors of the County
of San Luis Obispo, State of California, is hereby permitted to
use all that part of Monterey Street situate between the North-
Easterly boundary of said City and Osos Street in said City, all
that part of Monterey Street situate between Morro Street and
Chorro Street in said City, ail that part of Chorro Street situ-
ate between Monterey Street and Higuera Street in said City, and
all that part of Higuera'Street between Chorro Street and Nipomo
Street in said City for the distance of ten and one -half (102)
feet on each side of the centre line of the said streets, and all
that part of Monterey Street situate between Morro Street and
Osos Street in said City for the distance or eleven and one -half
(112) feet on the Southerly side and nine and one -half (92) feet
on the Northerly side of the centre line of said street, and also .
that certain bridge known as the Chorro Street Bridge on Chorro
Street between Monterey Street and Higuera Street in said City,
together with that portion of said Chorro Street occupied thereby
and including all intersections and crossings of any of the
or at
above streets with other streets between the points above named,
for the purpose of constructing and maintaining thereon a highway
or boulevard as part of the County System of Roads on the said
above described portions of the said streets.
Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby decreed to be
urgent and immediately necessary to the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health and safety and shall take effect
from and after its final passage.

Section 3. This Ordinance, together with the Ayes and
Nos, shall be published for two days in the "Morning Tribune" a
daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City.
