AN ORDUMME AgDUM SRCTION 9200.16 (7) TO THE
Sid LUIS OBISPO MWICIPAL CODE PROVIDED FOR THE
REGU&ATION OF DEEP IOr SMDIViSION
BE I.T. OWAIM by the Council of the CAty of Sage ]Luis Obispo as follows:
1. That Section 9200.16 {7} shell be'and i6 hereby added to the San Luis
Obispo. klulniciptal Code to read as follow:
.-V (1) Section 9200.16 (7) Subdivision of R-1 Deep Lots
(A) Large lots In R -1 toned grew may be subdivided in accordance
with Section 91000'2 -1 without all such Iota fronting on a dedicated
(improved) public street provided that such area can not be developed
by the installation of a standard subdivision street, either alone or
in conjunction with adjoining properties; and provided the following
conditions are complied with:
(1) Use permit required,
(2) The original building site or lot shall have a !°frontage of
not less than -60 feet exclusive of access to potential rear lots and
not lass than 90 feet to depth and 7500 square feet minimum area
exclusive of said access."
(3) Access to the rear shall be a cminiasm of 16 feet of pavement
in width and shall be considered a private road fully maintained by the
property cKmer or openers.
(4) Setbacks
(a) The front, rear and-side setbacks of the dwelling fronting
on the street shall.'.-be the G=e as.-In an R -1 zone,
(b) The -front setback of the-dwelling in the rear shall be
20 feet and measured from the required rear lines of the lot in front.
(c) The-;side yard setback as required in R-1, of a corner
lot, except the most rang l,ot, which may have 4 feet on either side.
(d) The rear yard setback as required in R -1.
(e) Minhaum building atea shall be 7500 square feet.
(f) Any garage facing the private goad shall be set back 20
feet from said road.
2. That a public hearing and consideretion of final passage shall be held
on August 3, 1959, at 8:00 P. M. in the Council Chambers at the City &-I11.
3. This ordinance, together with the ayee and toes, shall be published once
in full, at least three days bef6re its final pssu age, in the Telegram- Tribuae, a
newspaper published and circulated in said City, dad the same shall go into effect
at the expiration of thirty days after its final passage. .4.
