AN ORDINANCE OF INTENTION TO ABAMON A .PORTION OF MORRO
STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the abaindonment proceedings shall be pursuant to Division
9 Fart 3 Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code. '
SECTION 2. That upon a finding, at the-hereinafter stated public heaarint,
that said street is not necessary for present or prospective public street purposes.
The following described portion of Morro Street shall be abandoned subject to the
easement reserved:
That portion of Morro Street described as follows: Beginning at the
northeasterly cornet of Walnut Street and Morro Street, said corner being the
southwesterly corner of Block 72; thence Worth 36 °•22' Nest, a distance of 107 feet
to than southerly line of D. S. Highway No. 101; thence South. 450- 39'49°' bleat, along
the southerly line of 1►. S. Highway 101a distance of 50.49 feet to the westerly
line of Morro Street; thence South 36 ° -22' East, along the westerly line of Morro
Street, a distaince of 100.0 feet to a point on the northerly Line of Walnut Street
thence north 53 ° -38' East along the northerly sine of Walnut Street, a distance of
50 feet to the point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom ;a permanent easement and right at any time, or from time to time,
to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew sanitary sewers, :ati.litica
and storm draine and appurtenant structures in, upon,. over and across the following
described portion of said street:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Walnut Street and Morro Street, saaid
corner being the southwesterly corner of Block 72; thence South 5r-381 West, a
distance of 25 feet to the true point of beginning; thence Borth 36 ° -22' Nest along
the centerline of Morro Street, a distance of 103.5 feet to the southerly line of
U. S. Highway No. 101; thence South 450-391-4911 West along said line, a distance
of 25.245 feet to the westerly line of Hosrro'Sbreet;'theaace South 36 ° -22' East along
the westerly line of Morro Street, a distance of 100.0 feet to' the 'niorthe'rly line
of Walnut Street, thence Worth 53 ° -381 East'along'the northerly line of Walnut
Street a distance of 25.0 feet to the true point of beginning.
SECTION 3. That a asap is on file in the office of the City Clerk for
particulars as to the proposed abandonmat.
SECTION 4., That September 8, 1959s at 8:00 o °clock p. m. in the Council Chambers
of the City hall is the time and place set for public hearing on said abandonment which
is not less than fifteen days from the passage of this ordinance.
SECTION 5. That the City Engineer shall post notices on said street in
accordance with Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code rind shall cause this

ordinance to be published once at feast ten days prior to said hearing in the
Telegram- Tri.buue, a newspaper polished and circulated in said city. The City
Clerk shall record a certified copy of this ordinance with the County Recorder.
SECTION 6. This ordinance, together with the ayep and noes, shall be
published once in full, 4 least three dscys before its final passage in the
Teiegram-�Tribune, .a nevapaper publiehed. and circulated in said City, and the same
shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days After its final passage.
