AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP (TO REZONE
PROPERTY AT 560 HATHWAY. STREET).
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following described portion of the City of San Luis Obispo
as shown on the Official Zone Map of the City of San Luis Obispo be reclassified as
follows: Said property is also shown on the map attached hereto marked Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein by reference.
From District PD -R -1 (Planned Development, Residential Low Density) to R -2
( Residential Medium Density) real property described as:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 26,
township 30 South, Range 12 East, Mount Diablo Meridian, in the City of San Luis
Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of Califronia, according to the official
plat of the survey of said land approved by the surveyor general, November 30,
1867 described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Hathway Avenue and Third Street as shown on
map recorded December 9, 1939 in Book 2, Page 57 of Record of Surveys; Thence
North 0 041' East along the East line of Hathway Avenue,, 50 feet of the Southwest
corner of the property conveyed to Robert D. Baxendale, Et Ux., by deed dated
November 28, 1956 and recorded November 29, 1956 in Book 871, Page 239, of
Official Records; Thence along the Southerly line of the property so conveyed South
890 44' East, 61.25 feet and North 76° 59' East, 75.90 feet to the Southeast
corner thereof;
Thence North 00 41' East along the East line of said conveyed property and the
extension thereof 182.56 feet to the North line of the property conveyed to the
State of California, by deed dated April 26, 1951 and recorded May 31, 1951 in
Book 611, Page 298 of Official Records;
Thence South 890 44' East along said North line 278.34 feet to the Northwesterly
line of the description of the property in Parcel 3 of the Deed to the State of
California, dated August 7, 1951 and recorded September 25, 1951 in Book 628,
Page 338 of Official Records;
Thence along said Northwesterly line, South 460 54' 30" West, 98.66 feet, South
510 21' 20" West, 250 feet, South 72° 40' 10" West, 83.46 feet and North 89° 44'
West, 69.35 feet to the Point of Beginning.
GENERAL LOCATION:
East side of Hathway Street. 560 Hathway.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published
once in full, at least three days prior to its final passage, in the Telegram-
Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into
effect at the expiration of thirty days after its said final passage.

at a Regular Meeting thereof held on the Sth day of April, 1977, on motion of
Councilman Dunin, seconded by Councilman Petterson, and on the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Councilmen Dunin, Gurnee, Jorgense, Petterson and Mayor Schwartz
NOES: None
