Ordinance No. 732 (1977 Series)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
ZONE MAP OF THE CITY TO REZONE PROPERTY IN THE NORTH CENTRAL AREA.
WHEREAS, the attached map marked Exhibit "A ", which is incorporated into
this ordinance by reference, shows the boundaries of the area known for planning
and zoning purposes as the North Central Area of San Luis Obispo and shows the
present zoning of the-property within that area; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends that the properties within the
North Central Area be rezoned; and
WHEREAS, the attached map marked Exhibit "B ", which is incorporated into
this ordinance by reference, shows the new zoning designations proposed for
properties within the North Central Area; and
WHEREAS, this rezoning has been processed in accordance with the provisions
of Sections 65800 et.seq. of the Government Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. The Official Zone Map of the City of San Luis Obispo is amended
to reclassify the properties in the North Central Area as shown on the attached
Exhibit "B ".
SECTION 2. Exhibit "B" is adopted as a part of the Official Zone Map of
the City.
SECTION 3. For reference purposes the North Central Area is described:
The area bounded by the Southern Pacific Railroad to US 101, Montalban
Street, Lemon Street, Olive Street, Stenner Creek, a line generally extending
west from the south end of Hill Street, the western city limit, High Street
extended, US 101, Higuera Street, Mipomo Street, and Monterey Street to the
Southern Pacific Railroad.
SECTION 4. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be

published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage, in
the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in the City, and
shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its final
passage.

Obispo at a meeting on November 22, 1977, on motion of Councilman Settle,
seconded by Councilman Dunin
