ORDINANCE NO. 744 (1978 Series)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING THE
OFFICIAL ZONE MAP OF THE CITY (TO REZONE PROPERTY AT 1801
PREFUMO CANYON ROAD, CITY INITIATED REZONING)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and council have held hearings to
consider appropriate zoning for subject property in accordance with Section
65800 et. seq. of the Government Code, and;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and council find that the proposed
rezoning is consistent with the general plan, and
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning promotes the public health, safety, and
general welfare:
BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following described portion of the City of San Luis
ti Obispo as shown on the Official Zone Map of the city be reclassified from
U (Unclassified) to R -2 -MH (Medium- Density Residential, Mobile Home Park
combining zone). Said.property is also shown on the attached map marked
"Exhibit A" and incorporated herein by reference.
That portion of lot 59 of the Ranchos Canada De Los Osos and La
Laguna, in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, as per map filed in Book A, Page 83 of Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as
follows:
From the most northerly corner of said lot, being designated on
said map as "S189%
Thence along the northeasterly line of said lot, south 440 00' 35"
east, 404.00 feet;
Thence south 45 0;59' 25" west, 160.00 feet;
Thence south 44° 00' 35" east, 200.00 feet;
Thence south 50 40' 00" east, 150.00 feet;
Thence south 440 00' 35" east, 90.00 feet;
Thence south 45° 59' 25" west, 110.00 feet to the true point of
beginning;
Thence south 45° 59' 25" west, 105.00 feet;
Thence south 36° 25' 00" west, 544.00 feet;
Thence south 41° 12' 00" west, 64.70 feet;
Thence north 47° 41' 00" west, 203.00 feet;
Thence north 8° 51' 00" east, 117.80 feet;
Thence north 35° 35' 00" west, 225.00 feet;
Thence northwesterly in a direct line 412 feet, more or less, to a
point on the northwesterly line of said lot 59, that is distant along
said northwesterly line, south 450 59' 25" west, 960.00 feet from said
most northerly corner of lot 59;
Thence along said northwesterly line, north 45° 59' 25" east, 597
feet;
Thence south 440 00' 35" east, 812 feet more or less to the point of
beginning.

SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage, in
the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper 'published and circulated in said city, and
the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its
said final passage.
