ORDINANCE NO. 751 (1978 Series)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO`AMENDING
THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP OF THE CITY (TO REZONE PROPERTY
AT 410 HIGUERA STREET, CITY - INITIATED REZONING).
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings to
consider appropriate zoning for subject property in accordance with Section
65800 et. seq. of the Government Code, and;
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning is consistent with the general plan, and;.
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning will enable city review of access, circula-
tion and relationship to the creek environment when development of subject
property is proposed; and
WHEREAS, the rezoning is categorically exempt from requirements to
prepare environmental study under Section II.C.3, city E. I. R. Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning promotes the public health, safety and
general welfare;
BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the area shown on the map attached hereto marked
"Exhibit A" and included herein by reference be reclassified from C -R (Retail
Commercial) to C -R -S (Retail Commercial, use permit required due to special
considerations).
SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage,
in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said city,
and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after
its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the council of the City of San Luis
Obispo at a meeting thereof held on the 18th day of April 1978,
on motion of Councilman Settle , seconded by Councilman Dunin ,
