AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING
THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP OF THE CITY (TO REZONE PROPERTY
LYING BETWEEN BROAD STREET, PERKINS LANE AND LAWRENCE
DRIVE, CITY - INITIATED REZONING).
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings to
consider appropriate zoning for subject property in accordance with Section
65800 et. seq. of the Government Code, and;
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning is consistent with the general plan, and;
WHEREAS, environmental review of the general plan designation with
which this zoning is consistent has been completed, and:
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning promotes the public health, safety and
general welfare;
BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That the area shown on the map attached hereto marked
"Exhibit A" and included herein by reference be reclassified from R -2
(Medium- density Residential) to R -1 (Low - density Residential).
SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage,
in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said city,
and the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after
its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the council of the City of San Luis
Obispo at a meeting thereof held on the 7th day of June 1978,
on motion Of Councilman Petterson , seconded by Councilman Jorgensen ,
and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Dunin, Jorgensen, Petterson, Settle and Mayor Schwartz
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
