AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONE MAP OF THE CITY (TO
REZONE PROPERTY AT THE 1400 BLOCK OF BROAD
STREET, CITY INITIATED REZONING).
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings to consider appropriate zoning for subject property in accordance
with Section 65800 et. seq. of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commisssion and City Council find that the
proposed rezoning is consistent with the general plan; and
WHEREAS, environmental review has been completed for the general
plan amendment which this zoning action implements; and
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning promotes the public health, safety, and
general welfare:
follows:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as
SECTION 1. That the portion of the City of San Luis Obispo shown
on the map attached hereto marked "Exhibit A" and included herein by reference
be reclassified from PO (professional office) to R -2 (medium - denisty residential).
SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall
be published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage,
in the Telegram Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said.city,
and.the same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after
its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San
Luis Obispo at a meeting thereof held on the 19th day of September ,
1978, on motion of Councilman Jorgenseg seconded by Councilman Settle ,
and on the following roll call vote:
