ORDINANCE NO. 855 (1980 Series)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS O-BISPO'AN!ENDING
SECTION 9100.9 OF THE SAN LUIS OBISPO MUNICIPAL CODE
TO EXTEND THE TIME WITHIN WHICH A FINAL SUBDIVISION
MAP SHALL BE FILED
BE IT ORDAINED by the.-Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as
SECTION 1. Section 9100.9.1 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code
hereby is amended to read as follows:
"l. Time Limit.
a. Within two years after approval or conditional approval of the
tentative map or maps, the subdivider may cause the subdivision
or any part thereof to be surveyed and a final map as approved
or conditionally approved. Streets and easements needed for access
to any such part shall be provided on or with the final map.
b. Upon application of the subdivider filed prior to the expiration
of the approved or conditionally approved tentative map, the time
at which the tentative map expires may be extended by the City
Council for two successive periods-.ndtc-.exceeding one year each.
c. Failure to record a final map within two years from any approval
or conditional approval of the tentative map, or any extension
thereof granted by the Council, shall terminate all proceedings.
Before a final map may.-:therefore be recorded, a new tentative map
shall be submitted."
SECTION 2: This Council hereby determines that the time limits set out
in Section 1 shall apply to any tentative map for which the time to file a final
map has not expired as of the effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage in
the Telgram- Tribune, 'a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the
same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after said final
passage.

Obispo at a meeting held on the 3rd day of June, 1980, on motion of Councilman,
seconded by Councilman Munger, and on the following roll call vote:
