AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO REPEALING SECTIONS 6100.49.1
AND 6100.49.2; AND AMENDING SECTION 6100.49
(PRIVATE PATROL SERVICES) OF THE SAN LUIS
OBISPO MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Sections 6100.49.1 and 6100.49.2 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal
Code hereby are repealed.
SECTION 2. Section 6100.49 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code is amended
to read as follows:
"The Council may adopt by resolution regulations consistant with the
provisions of state law concerning the operation of private patrol services."
SECTION 3. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published
once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage in the Telegram -'
Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go
into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo
at a meeting held on the 19th day of April , 1983, on motion of Councilman
Griffin , seconded by Councilman Settle , and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Griffin, Settle, Dunin and Mayor Billig
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilwoman Dovey
