AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING SECTION 8190.2
(PERMIT REQUIRED; TENTS) OF THE SAN LUIS
OBISPO MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 8190.2 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code is amended
to read as follows:
"SECTION 8190.2. PERMIT REQUIRED
No person shall erect, use or maintain any tent other than as provided in this
part and Article 32 of the Uniform Fire Code, without first having obtained a
permit to do so from the Council -in the manner hereinafter provided."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage in the
Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same
shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its said final
passage.

Obispo at a meeting held on the 19th day of April , 1983, on motion of
Councilman Griffin
