AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING SECTION 5220.9
(ABATEMENT OF RAT HARBORS AND RUBBISH) OF
THE SAN LUIS OBISPO MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Councilcof'_the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5220.9 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code hereby is
amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 5220.9. SAME. FAILURE TO ABATE
If after being notified by any Police of Health Officer any person shall
fail, neglect or refuse to abolish, abate or remove,.within one day, any of the
matters of things mentioned in Section 5220.7 or Section 5220.8 then the City may
abolishsabate or remove the same and the person whose duty it was to do so, in
addition to incurring penalties provided in this Part shall become indebted to the
City for the costs and charges so expended."

SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its..final passage in the
Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same
shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its said final
passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo at a meeting held on the --..19th day of April , 1983, on motion of
Councilman Griffin
, seconded by Councilman Settle , and on the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Griffin, Settle, Dunin and Mayor Billig
