Subject: Santa Rosa St. Hotel Complex
Dear SLO City Council,
Please DO NOT allow the new hotel complex on Santa Rosa St. in SLO to exceed 45' in height!
It will completely change the tone of our lovely downtown- the same downtown that won the "Best Main Street" award
because of it's charm. This charm is what makes it unique, what attracts visitors-- who bring us revenue. It's why most of
us live here and why enjoy living here.
Santa Barbara lowered their 60' building max height to 45' for a reason! It's too high, hides the views of the lovely hills and
makes us look like any metropolis. We are NOT any metropolis. We are special and I hope you will remember this when
you decide on this project.
