The clerk indicated it would be put into Agenda Correspondence and distributed as indicated on the letter, this has not yet occurred. Please do so. Lydia Mourenza Dear Mayor, City Council, Planning Commission, ARC & CHC: I am writing out of my concern for the proposed, and apparently Fast tracked development of the historic Sanford House and property located at 71 Palomar. I have live across Luneta from the side of the house since 1988 after having purchased a lot and built a family home. While there may have been periodic issues in the past with the fraternity, they did monitor the area with security during events and early morning cleanup following, as well as providing contact information for any problems. In any event, the large parcel with the historic house, mature trees, and wildlife has provided somewhat of a buffer between the Valencia student housing complex and the single family homes surrounding. It is inconceivable to my neighbors that a 41 unit apartment complex is even a possibility for the site, let alone moving the house, cutting down trees and opening the street. This is not a trivial project and deserves to be put on the City Council Agenda and through the full Planning Commission process. You have a duty to the citizens of San Luis Obispo to act openly and to consider the concerns of impacted residents. The current process for this project appears to be undercover and "a done deal', just another in favor of out of town developers. The appearance of impropriety has the same and perhaps greater effect on the community as actual impropriety. Here one of the City Council members is reportedly part owner of the property, which subjects this issue to a high level of scrutiny by your constituents. I will leave discussion on issues including water, parking, street travel and safety, need for a park etc. to others and refer you to the prior letters and public comment at the Parks and Recreation meeting in February. Sincerely, A^Vosr Lydia Mourenza 617 Luneta Dr.
