1. CONSIDERATION OF A CITY LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR PACIFIC GAS &
ELECTRIC’S REQUEST TO THE CALIFORNIA STATE LANDS
COMMISSION FOR AN EXTENSION OF A LEASE FOR AN OCEAN INTAKE
AND OUTFALL STRUCTURE AT THE DIABLO CANYON POWER PLANT (L.
JOHNSON / HERMANN - 30 MINUTES)
Recommendation
Send a letter to the State Lands Commission regarding Pacific Gas & Electric’s request
for an extension of a lease for an ocean intake and outfall structure at the Diablo Canyon
Power Plant in light of Pacific Gas & Electric’s recent announcement of its contingent
agreement not to seek renewal of its Nuclear Regulatory Commission licenses.
ADJOURNMENT
The Regular City Council Meeting of July 5, 2016 was previously cancelled. Consequently, the
next Regular City Council Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the
Council Chamber, respectively, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, California.
