Subject: Regarding 71 Palomar
Dear Mayor Marx and Council Members,
I live in the area of the Sanford House at 71 Palomar. I ask for all of you to preserve this beautiful old home with the
possibility of creating a neighborhood park surrounding it. It is easy to see that this home was one of the most beautiful
old homes in San Luis Obispo at one time. And it would be wonderful to have a park on this side of town.
The Palomar/Ramona area is very impacted with cars, many coming from "single family homes." The definition, "single
family homes" does not apply to many of the homes in this area, when they are in fact, rented to multiple college
students, and not a single family. To add another 40 units to this already impacted area is not a solution.
And I also support my neighbors in keeping Luneta Street as it is, blocked off.
Thank you for your attention to these matters,
Sincerely,
Pam Racouillat
