Dear Mayor Marx and Council Members,
I live at 103 La Entrada and I am in favor of keeping Luneta Drive a closed street. Luneta is one of the
quieter streets in our neighborhood If opened, it would be the second street parallel to Foothill that would
be a through street and our neighborhood would lose its neighborhood feel. As it is, the street is enjoyed
by walkers, dog walkers, and bikers of all ages. The opening of Luneta would change this part of our
neighborhood and would negatively affect all neighbors.
In addition, there would be increased traffic on Palomar to go to Serrano or Ramona, and onto Broad
Street where a possible bike boulevard is being developed. We do not need more traffic in the middle of a
neighborhood. Let's keep it to the edges and hopefully have quieter neighborhoods.
