Dear Mayor Marx and Council Members,
We live @ 117 Del Sur Wy and are in favor of keeping Luneta Dr a closed street. Luneta Dr has been our quiet way to walk
downtown, always appreciating that about it along with the trees at 71 Palomar. We believe more streets should be closed to traffic,
not fewer.
The opening of Luneta Dr would change this part of our neighborhood negatively, ie increased noise to name one, affecting all
neighbors.
There are also safety concerns for traffic driving through Luneta. Luneta Dr dead ends in Palomar forcing drivers to turn towards
Ramona to access Broad St or Serrano to access Broad St, both intersections having poor visibility.
There are many other solutions for the easing of traffic on Ramona Dr.
We are out of town and sorry we cannot be at tomorrow's meeting.
