To the members of the Advisory Bodies:
I most strongly support the proposal by TRANSITIONS MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION
for the Sunny Acres area. My wife and I have been involved with the important work of TMHA
for over twenty years. In addition I have attended most of their workshops on this current
proposal. I have no doubt that what they are proposing will extend the valuable work they have
been doing for people with mental health problems. Moreover, their project will change that
eyesore of the old Juvenile Hall into an attractive corner of that land area.
As a close neighbor, I have walked that area for over the past 25 years, and have seen the old
hall broken into and the roof tiles scattered all over.
I regret that because of an earlier commitment I am away from SLO and cannot be present to
support this project..
Please support this wonderful project of THMA.
