Dear City of SLO CHC and ARC Committees,
Our family will be neighbors of the 1600 Bishop St./ Transitions Mental Health Association (TMHA) Bishop
Street Studios project, we have resided at 2001 Skylark Lane for 19 years.
We fully support the development and implementation of this residential care facility south of our
neighborhood for people who are undergoing treatment to manage their mental health.
The truth is, all of us work with and live near people with mental health issues or an actual mental
health illness. We believe that providing a place to live for people who are working to manage their mental
health is critical to them achieving our mutual goal of being well and functioning independently.
