My wife Joyce and I live in San Luis Obispo and would like to encourage you that when making a City Plan for the future that it would
include a new Parks and Recreation Update that would also include permanent pickle ball courts. We both enjoy the game, belong to
the club, and have seen it's membership grow in the past year from 10 people to over 200 members. The Parks and Recreation Dept.
has done an excellent job in helping us create temporary courts and we need even more. The waiting time to get on a court can range
from 10-20 minutes due to the small number of courts and the many players that show up daily. Pickle Ball is currently the fastest
growing sport in the US and our city certainly shows that to be true.
Your consideration of these issues is greatly appreciated,
