Subject: City Priorities for 2017-2018
Dear Staff,
It was our intention to attend tonight's meeting at the Ludwig Center, but weather limits our mobility.
We want you to know, however, that we would like to see a senior housing development/ continuous care
retirement community (CCRC) as our #1 priority.
The aging population in the city does not have a comprehensive living/ housing option at present; places
like the Manse and the Villages and Las Brisis serve a need, but a CCRC would offer much more, giving
seniors the option of purchasing their own homes/ condos and then aging in place. Please consider this need
seriously.
