Subject: Pass the Safety Zones Amendment
Dear Mayor Harmon and City Council Representatives,
Please pass the Safety Enhancement Zones Amendment as recommended by the Police Department.
We recently had to move from our residence of 32 years on La Canada Dr due to noise issues. Fortunately, we
were able to stay in the city but our property taxes are six times what they were. We know many friends who
could not afford such moves and left the city.
Party noise continues to be problematic. - just drive around the Hathaway Jungle on any Friday night. We
welcome students to our cities, but we expect kindness and consideration at all times. Being a student does not
give one license to infringe on the rights of others.
