I am here tonight to lend my support to the Dana Street neighborhood appeal of the 560 Higuera Street project. I ask that you uphold the appeal and return the project to ARC with direction for action on the following items: 1. Enclose Garage along Creekside-no openings -solid concrete wall to reduce noise and light intrusion into the Dana Street Homes. 2. Revise Landscape Plan to include varying heights of evergreen trees and shrubbery, tightly planted- to screen the view into the Dana Street residences homes from the project. Plants and trees to be planted on the upper bank of the creek and maintained by 560 Higuera Street at all times. 3. No future roof decks as a condition. Specify mechanical roof equipment to be located on the Higuera Street side of the project. 4.4 th floor setback on Creekside to minimize bulk of building and reduce solar shading of Dana Street homes. Setback to be at least the width of the Higuera Street covered walkway. The setback can be offset on the Higuera Street side. Thank you, Mary Mitchell (01-17-17)
