To the Honorable Members of San Luis Obispo City Council:
I am writing this short note to implore you to REPEAL this intrusive, discriminatory and MISGUIDED
program. It is unnecessary, at best, as there are MORE THAN ENOUGH remedies currently in place for
tenants who are living in substandard housing. Additionally, as a long time landlord in SLO, I KNOW that the
very people you are trying to help will be hurt by much higher rents, citywide.
This a very bad idea and should NOT be allowed to be on the books.
